Travel to Riga for ITF 2026

We’re excited to welcome you to Riga, Latvia for the 2026 International Trombone Festival, with festival activities centered at two beautiful, walkable venues in the heart of the city:

Flying in: Riga International Airport (RIX)

Most international travelers will arrive via Riga International Airport (RIX). From the airport, central Riga is straightforward to reach by public bus or taxi/ride-hailing. (Riga Airport)

Getting from the airport to the city

Public bus (Route 22)

Bus No. 22 connects the airport and city center. The airport bus stop is in the P1 car park area, between arrival exits (follow airport signage). (Riga Airport)

Ticket options (high level):

  • You can buy a one-way ticket from the driver on Bus 22 (card payment only), and there are also time tickets (e.g., 90 minutes). (Riga Airport)

Taxi + ride-hailing (Bolt)

Riga Airport provides official guidance for taxi/ride-hailing pickup and licensed providers. (Riga Airport)
